This is Aimee’s first role in financial services having joined HDA as an Apprentice. Aimee is now working towards her Diploma in Financial Planning while providing vital admin support to the paraplanning team.
As well as meeting and greeting clients when they arrive at the office and answering calls, I undertake general administration; liaising with providers and clients, gathering policy information, processing documentation and completing checking processes.
Outside of work I like to keep myself busy. I participate in sporting activities with my main sport being Taekwondo. I also have an active role within Girlguiding; I like to give back to my local community and to help girls grow the skills that will help them throughout their life. I have recently started my Queen’s Guide Award (the Highest Award you can work towards in Girlguiding).
I also enjoy sewing and I’m often creating dog accessories (collars, leads, beds, toys etc.) for friends and family. At the weekend, I enjoy walking my dog on the Malvern Hills and going on local countryside walks.
The objective of this unit is to develop an understanding of the financial services industry including regulation and legislation.
